The Denver Police Department would like the community to know they can now follow the DPD on Twitter. The Denver community can receive daily information regarding criminal matters, laws, police actions and just good information. We have been operating on Twitter on trial basis for the past two months. DPD’s Twitter account surpassed 900 followers. This group includes DPD Officers, city employees, community members, media outlets, and even two people in Tehran, IRAN. Although 900 may not seem like much in a city of 600,000, consider that some of our messages have been repeated to tens of thousands of people around the world.
